GadaFundAm helps Nigerian creators raise the funds to make it happen — and gives backers confidence that money is released responsibly, in stages, as real progress is delivered.
For Creators
1. Create your account
Sign up as a creator, verify your email, and complete your profile. It takes only a few minutes to get started.
2. Get verified
Before you can publish a campaign, we verify your identity. You'll submit your full legal name, a government-issued ID (NIN, driver's licence, passport, or voter's card), and your address. Verified creators earn a badge that builds trust with backers.
3. Build your campaign
Tell your story with images, video, and a clear description. Then set:
- Your funding goal and campaign duration.
- Reward tiers that backers can choose from.
- Milestones — the stages of your project — which must add up to 100%.
4. Submit for review
Our team reviews every campaign before it goes live to keep the Platform safe and credible. Once approved, your campaign is published and open for funding.
5. Get funded
Backers contribute securely through Paystack. You can post updates, answer questions, and rally your community throughout the campaign.
6. Receive milestone payouts
When your campaign is fully funded, we don't release everything at once. Instead, funds are paid out in tranches as you complete each milestone. For every milestone you submit evidence of progress; once our team approves it, the next tranche is released to your verified bank account — with account-name verification run before every payout.
For Backers
1. Discover projects
Browse and search campaigns by category, popularity, or how soon they're ending. Every creator you back has been identity-verified.
2. Back what you love
Choose a reward tier or contribute any amount. Payments are processed securely by Paystack — we never store your card details.
3. Fund with confidence
Because payouts are milestone-based, creators are accountable for delivering real progress before receiving each tranche. You can follow creators, save campaigns, and receive updates as projects move forward.
Milestone-Based Payouts
This is what makes GadaFundAm different. Rather than handing over all the funds up front, we release money in stages tied to verified progress. This protects backers, keeps projects on track, and helps creators manage their production responsibly. Learn more in our Terms and Conditions.
Fees
GadaFundAm only earns when a campaign succeeds. On every successfully funded campaign we deduct:
- Platform fee: 7% of the total raised.
- Transaction processing fee: 3% of the total raised.
These are deducted before milestone payouts begin, so a campaign that raises ₦10,000,000 has ₦9,000,000 available for milestone payments.
